Part Time Finance Assistant
Six-month temporary contract (may lead to permanent position)
Salary: NJC Scale C point 10, £11,658 per annum
Term: 30 hours per week, term time plus 1 week

We are seeking part time Finance Assistant, initially for a six month fixed contract, to support our busy Finance Team based at Wymondham High Academy.
Main duties will include:
- Co-ordinating the purchase of goods and services for the Trust and its academies;
- Arranging student transport, liaising with academy staff and local suppliers
- School trip finances, communicating with parents, recording and monitoring receipt of monies via ParentMail
- Operating the academy shop at break and lunch times; assisting students with catering accounts
- Preparation of income for banking
Knowledge of computerised finance systems and/or working in a finance environment is desirable, as are good communication skills and a “can-do” attitude.
Experience working in a school environment is not essential, but you will need to be organised and efficient, with the skills to manage your own time and deadlines.
