Long Stratton High School is a small secondary school with well behaved, motivated and aspirational students. The school is part of the newly formed ieTrust.

We currently have requirement for midday supervisor.
Under the direction of the Site Manager, supervisors supervise pupils during lunch break in and around the school site and clear the hall after lunch.
A professional approach is essential in this role.

Caretaker/Maintenance Operative

Required: Caretaker/Maintenance Operative
Contract: Full Time 32.5 Hours Per week 52 weeks per Year
Term: Permanent
Salary: National Joint Council salary range 3 – 4 £15,868 to £16,185 per annum

Long Stratton High School is a small secondary in the Heart of Rural Norfolk with an excellent body of students and staff.

Following the retirement of the long-standing post-holder we are looking for a school Caretaker/Maintenance Operative to be part of our Premises team. Applicants should preferably have experience working in a commercial or similar environment. The successful applicant will support the general maintenance of the interior and exterior of the school, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard with a proactive attitude. The role will include typical caretaking duties as well as maintenance work, Health & Safety work and security of the site. You will also need to be an effective communicator working with staff, pupils and external contractors and enjoy working with young people. During term time you will be on an alternating weekly shift pattern of 7am-1pm and 2pm – 9pm.

Salary: NJC  7 – 11 (£19,554.00 – £21,166.00) pro rata
Hours: 29.6 hours per week, term time plus one week Working hours 8.15 am to 3.00pm

With the current post-holder starting her teacher training in September, we looking to appoint two new Cover Supervisors to supervise whole classes during short term absence of teachers and to allow teachers to carry out professional duties and training.

Candidates must want to work with children as well as being flexible, approachable and pro-active in their approach. Candidates must have good admin, IT, organisational and teamworking skills. This post is suitable for those wishing to pursue a career in teaching.

Hours 30 Term time + 1 week 8:15am – 3pm
Salary: £19,554 – £21,166 (£10.14-£10.97 per/hr.) pro rata

Following the retirement of our current post-holder we are looking to appoint an enthusiastic self-driven, Senior Science Technician to join our dynamic and high performing Science department.
Under the direction of the Head of Science, the Senior Technician will maintain 6 Science laboratories, 2 preparation rooms and support the work of 6 Science Teachers.
The ideal candidate will be able to work on their own, as part of a team, have initiative, be proactive and reliable.
