Our core belief at Long Stratton High school is that all students are creative and capable of individual success. The arts are central to all learning and to the development and discovery of humanity.
Our programmes of study are updated to meet the requirements of the New National Curriculum in accordance with the Statutory Guidance for the National curriculum in England: art and design programmes of study.
The Arts teaching staff are talented, enthusiastic and passionate about inspiring pupils to realise their creative potential. We believe that learning outside the classroom is also very important, and we provide a wide variety of enrichment activities for all pupils. There are opportunities for pupils to learn a range of musical instruments, get involved in performances, whether singing, dancing, acting or stage work. We also offer art clubs, choir, and band at lunch times.
